World Choir Games
250 choirs | 42 countries | 11,000 participants
Kaylene, our ukulele tutor, and Director of the Keynotes Choir recently competed at the World Choir Games, held in Auckland. Here's what she had to say about the experience:
"The World Choir Games is the largest choral competition and festival in the world and a truly inspiring experience!
For two weeks, Auckland was buzzing with spellbinding performances, captivating competitions and stunning celebration/friendship concerts!
To be able to perform at the Town Hall and Aotea Centre in the Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre was a wonderful experience and to see so many talented choirs sing and share their cultures was such a joyful and rewarding experience.
Our choir (All Together Now Aotearoa) was presented with silver awards in both of the categories we entered.
You'll have to look hard to find me in the back row, second from the right in the Alto section (150+ members)."
