Taupō School of Music invites you to attend the Big Music Day concert. This orchestral event takes place on Thursday 26 September at 4.30pm in the hall at the Great Lake Centre. Entry is by gold coin donation (notes for families) and all are welcome.
About The Big Music Day
The Big Music Day is a one day event where around 200 students from schools, kura, and home-school families from in and around Taupō join with tutor volunteers from the community. The students learn four pieces of music to perform in an orchestra at the end of the day. This is an annual event and it is, for most students, the largest orchestra that they will ever play in.
Children who wish to participate do not need to be learning through the TSoM. If they are attending mainstream school / kura their participation will be organised through the school. If your child is home or Correspondence schooled, and you would like more information, please contact the TSoM Principal Jo at tsomprincipal@gmail.com
